ROLE INTRODUCTION
This is a fantastic opportunity to help protect and promote the reputation of a leading global food company and its brands. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs, you’ll have the opportunity to support and execute a broad range of communications including PR, media, social/digital, internal, events, and CSR initiatives. Based in our Oceania headquarters at Macquarie Park, you’ll be of a nurturing local team as well as a member of a diverse, global communications team.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Manage and maintain the press office function, incl media lists; media monitoring, corporate assets, media inquiries etc.
Work closely with brand teams to build and maintain the content calendar for proactive communications
Support the Head of Corporate Affairs
Nurture employee engagement on corporate social responsibility and sustainability
Administration support such as budgeting, raising of POs

ABOUT YOU
You will have a demonstrated passion for communications and a desire to explore and learn across a broad scope of internal and external corporate communications.
Ideally you will have:
Bachelor of Communications or similar
Minimum 2+ years experience in an agency or inhouse function
Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
Digitally fluent in social media platforms e.g. LinkedIn & Facebook
Demonstrated experience managing events
