Job Description
This E&I Maintenance Superintendent position is a key role in our QGC team, and is required to provide E&I maintenance capability for day to day E&I maintenance implementation, including plans/schedules
Some of the key deliverables and accountabilities of this role are:
Supervise Maintenance personnel; supervisors, coordinators, technicians and contractors.
Input to the development of specific E&I maintenance procedures and work instructions
Lead & execute Safety Case Performance Standard maintenance verification and proof testing activities
Ensure compliance to Hazardous Area Electrical requirements are always met when performing maintenance
Maintain maintenance records through effective documentation in conjunction within Maximo CMMS ensuring all history and follow-up work is captured
Use Maximo PM (advanced user) systems to co-ordinate and execute work and ensure history data is entered and maintained
Provide input for the development of the Company’s policies and procedures for all PM functions carried out via Maximo
Support the complex long-term shutdown cycle schedule
Participate in scope reviews and support the development of all planned unit and complex shutdown detailed schedules and assist to arrange necessary materials, labour and equipment.
Develop, implement and maintain functions associated with periodic maintenance including equipment PM’s, job plans, etc.
Organise the warehouse storage location system and make changes to adapt to business needs as appropriate for E&I equipment

Requirements
The candidate we are therefore seeking for this position, will have/be;
E&I Trade background with supervisory experience in Oil & Gas Industry, preferably LNG
Experience/competence with maintenance of Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas
Highly experienced in High Voltage Switching and HV Equipment.
Power generation experience, ideally with gas turbines
Solid understanding of maintenance requirements of the Emergency Shut Down and DCS/PLC systems.
Solid understanding of maintenance requirements of the Fire & Gas Detection system.
Ability to hold an unrestricted Queensland Electrical Workers Licence.
Proven experience as an advances CMMS user (Maximo/SAP/JDE/AMOS/Oracle etc.)
Advanced computer skills with MS Office software, Networking, Web development, Project Systems such as MS Project, Primavera etc
Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work effectively in/and across multi-functional teams and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, whilst maintaining a high work level of work ethic, being able to work autonomously and being passionate about diving our company’s performance
