Job Description
This key position maintains and improves the Integrated Turnaround Processes, which encompasses integrated operations from well head up to LNG plant.  In addition to aligning QGC Turnaround processes with the Shell AMS, it is also key for this role to develop and own the QGC Integrated Turnaround Strategy and planning process including the 10 year Integrated Turnaround plan.
As the Integrated Turnaround Manager, you will integrate the planning of Turnarounds with the Project Opportunity Identification process, to ensure long terms risks and opportunities are identified in Turnaround scope and develop and implement detailed turnaround procedures, templates, tools and QA/QC processes.    It is essential that you also rigorously apply the Turnaround processes and lead continual improvement in its effectiveness and define the ToR for and chair the Turnaround Steering Committee to achieve required business outcomes.  Your ability to define, advertise and administer strict turnaround preparation gate criteria within assets whilst defining and implementing processes to capture opportunities to deliver turnarounds in a safer, more efficient way whilst maintaining high quality will be of immense interest.
Should you be successfully appointed to this key position within our business, you will further refine the turnaround processes such as the Emergent Work process and govern its use, own the Turnaround Contracting Strategy and engage QGC Contracts and Procurement team to define and engage required third party contractors to support Turnarounds and also own and manage the Turnaround  Risk Management process.

Requirements
Established and credible stakeholder skills will be paramount for this role, as the incumbent will work closely with the Shell Energy Australia team to deliver Integrated Production Planning, statutory requirements and maintenance planning to optimise Turnaround scope and timing to minimise overall Production impact.  In addition to that they will act as key interface with - Maintenance, Engineering and Projects teams - ensuring cross functional alignment to the turnaround plan and lead interface activities with contractors.
Candidates of interest will present with demonstrated experience in offshore/onshore operations and maintenance and compliment this with wide ranging experience in the management of turnarounds either onshore or offshore.   A clear and evident background working in complex operations will be to your advantage and we are keen to engage with candidates who can demonstrate safety leadership and promotion of a safety culture amongst all personnel and implementation of remedial actions to sustain/improve turnarounds.
This is an exciting opportunity where you will get to work across discipline boundaries and collaboratively to drive operational performance improvement and a candidate with tertiary qualifications in a technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, knowledge and experience in the application of AUS DME compliance & regulations will be highly regarded.
Crucial to the success of this role is the ability to work & lead effectively in/and across multi-functional teams at all levels and interface with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, based in various locations, whilst maintaining a high work level of work ethic, being able to work autonomously and being passionate about diving our company’s performance.
